Pivot to Support Canadian Customer

We were preparing to build early prototypes of a novel technology for a medical device start up working on otoscopes, when war broke out in Ukraine. Soon after all shipment services stopped serving Belarus, where our engineering team was readying test benches and meteorology. We had to make a fast pivot to support our Canadian customer and remotely support them to do the assembly effort.

Switch to Different API

In one of our projects, we had a tight deadline to launch a new feature for our digital signage platform. During testing, we encountered an unexpected compatibility issue with a third-party API, which threatened to delay the entire release.

Instead of sticking to the original plan, I quickly pivoted and worked closely with our technical team to explore alternative solutions. We decided to switch to a different API that offered similar functionality, but it required some backend rework to integrate smoothly. We reprioritized tasks, focused on the most critical fixes, and streamlined our testing process to minimize any impact on the user experience.

The result? A successful launch, though a few weeks later than initially planned.
